Sven Burgers is director and owner of Eduquest, chairman of GRC (the Global Resilience Centre), chair of the Time-Out Centre Foundation, military psychologist and author. He started his career in the Dutch military where he served as an officer for over twenty years in various operational positions at home and abroad. As a retired veteran, he served in areas of conflict and in his capacity as a psychologist he is an expert in leadership, psychological and organisational resilience, stress management and special selection programmes.
He is also an experienced coach and counselor for professionals in the world of stress-related and high-risk professions and (inter)national positions with a high-risk profile and high political sensitivity. He holds a master’s degree in organisational and clinical psychology and a bachelor’s degree in education.
His companies operate in several countries, where he advises and supports organisations and administrations in the development and implementation of various programmes on (trauma) recovery, rehabilitation and resilience. In his Adaptation and Recovery Treatment Centre in Norway, he helps individuals and organisations strengthen their mental health and mental resilience.
