Widow of former TAG Member Robert G. Bell.

Robert G. Bell’s 45-year U.S. Government career included seven years as the U.S. Defense Advisor at NATO and the Senior Civilian Representative in Europe of the Secretary of Defense (2010–2017), three years as NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defense Investment (1999–2003), seven years at the White House as President Clinton’s National Security Council (NSC) Senior Director for Defense Policy and Arms Control and NSC Counselor (1993–1999), eighteen years on the staffs of the Senate Foreign Relations and Armed Services Committees and the Congressional Research Service (1975–1992), and six years as an Air Force officer (1969–1975).
From 2003 to 2010, he was a Senior Vice President at SAIC, where he directed business development activities in Europe. Mr. Bell earned a BS in International Affairs from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1969 and an MA and PhD in International Security Studies from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in 1970 and 2021.
He later served as a Distinguished Professor of the Practice at Georgia Tech, a Distinguished Fellow at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS), and Chief Executive Officer of his consulting firm, National Security Counsel LLC.
